Viking Snow Babies

I have raised Siberian Huskies since the year 1996. We started out with one for a pet and fell so in love with the breed, it grew into what we have today. I started out with Lakota. My sister came to visit me and my family in Wyoming from North Carolina. She brought with her her red & white Siberian husky Saudi. She was a great dog with very good bloodlines. I just fell in love with my sisters dog. Before she left I asked her to find me a husky just like hers. She Came back a month later with my first AKC Siberian husky puppy that has changed my life. I named her Lakota. She lived till she was 8 yr old when she was bit by a rattle snake in Texas and passed away

 Lakota was only bred twice, once to a sled dog in Jackson Hole WY and to a Show dog in Salem Oregon. My children begin showing Lakota's daughter Jade, in 4-H in 2004 and her granddaughter,Valkyrie, in 2007. We initially were breeding dogs for friends and family, and so each of my children could have and train their own husky, but got a number of requests for puppies, and the next thing you know, we became Siberian husky breeders. 3 of my children continue to show in 4-H and have now begone to show in AKC show ring.
