What I look for in a buyer, is a person who will understand that all dogs are sentient beings. They have feelings like we have. They need good food, decent shelter, love and occasionally they need medical care beyond the usual medical maintenance that is required. They need training right from the beginning of ownership. They also need guidance and constant supervision, especially in the first year. A willingness to think of their dog as a member of their family and not something that they can just throw away after it is no longer a cute puppy.
